If you have a membership with FMCA, and IF the articles from past
FMCA magazines are available on the FMCA Web site, then there is an
excellent 3 part article about the GMs. If there is no way for you
to get the article on-line please let me know and I'll see if I still
have those issues and what it would take to do a photocopy.

They were purpose-built (not a box on a farm truck chassis) and used
the FWD Toronado drivetrain. Not really designed for extended use;
not much tankage, etc. Many have been extended and upgraded. I've
heard they are very easy to get stuck in mud or snow. There's
probably a Yahoo group and a few web sites dedicated to them.
