A bit OT
If you have a membership with FMCA, and IF the articles from past
FMCA magazines are available on the FMCA Web site, then there is an excellent 3 part article about the GMs. If there is no way for you to get the article on-line please let me know and I'll see if I still have those issues and what it would take to do a photocopy. They were purpose-built (not a box on a farm truck chassis) and used the FWD Toronado drivetrain. Not really designed for extended use; not much tankage, etc. Many have been extended and upgraded. I've heard they are very easy to get stuck in mud or snow. There's probably a Yahoo group and a few web sites dedicated to them. A GM would make a great mother-in-law toad for your Bird Bob Griesel --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, John Suter wrote: > I think it might have been in 1976-77 but I can't > remember much except it had an Olds Toronado engine > and I think it may have had front wheel drive. > > John Suter > > > > > --- Jack & Donna Smith > > A bit off topic, but if anyone has owned a GMC > > (73-78) motorhome, > > please Email me..
