Airk Brakes won't pressure up

Mine do that as well, I do not know the system you have but it seems that the
sluggishness of the main cylinder allows the locking cylinder to come into play
first, not allowing the system to fully shut off.(contacts were not made) I
have recently rebuilt it the complete step system, gosh that thing is built like
a tank I have no leaks now though and the temp is dropping to 0 F again tonight.

Speaking of warmer weather. My step valve won't stop leaking air when it
retracts when it is very cold. BUT- when the temps rise to the 40's+ the valve
works great- no air leak. weird
