Thank Goodness for Global Warming!
I noticed Leroy's note that DeFuniak Springs FL will be 32 degrees
tonight. Here in South Texas we have been in the 32-35 degree range all day. I just checked the Saturday night forecast for our little town of Boerne (NW of San Antonio, in the Hill Country). I was shocked to see this forecast on http://www.weather.com: Snow this evening will give way to a mixture of snow and sleet late. Thunder possible (note: already have that). Low 28F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. (I'll believe that when I see it!) This on Easter in far South Texas! Thank goodness for the global warming crisis! I am also very thankful the Lone Star Birds Rally is next weekend and not this weekend! You still have time to attend that on. The 10-day forecast says it's supposed to be warm and dry then. Stay warm everyone and have a very Happy Easter. Mike Bulriss 1991 WB40 "Texas Minivan" San Antonio, TX |
