Towing a Honda CRT/Pilot
Hi Jon,

I tow an '04 Honda Pilot. Most Honda's with AWD/4WD have to be towed
with all four wheels down. Before towing, you have to start the
toad,
then the routine in my manual goes as such:

1. Apply emergency brake
2. Move shifter through all positions slowly
3. Return shifter to "neutral" position
4. Allow toad to idle for 3 minutes in neutral. (usually a good time
to go out and hook up to the hitch/towbar)
5. Release emergency brake
6. Shut off engine on toad and leave key in position "I" so that
steering wheel does not lock.
7. If towing for extended periods, repeat this procedure every 8
hours.
