Price for tires?
Jon,
I believe that Hinnon are made in Korea - not sure though.... Since the "average" RV is driven only 2,000 miles a year and those of us that average 15,000 miles per year are high users, based on a five year life, the mileage varies from 10,000 to 75,000 miles during the life of the tire. Tires used by RVers typically rot out before they wear out. The Toyo has one of the strongest side walls in the industry - five plies - where as Michelin has one of the weakest side walls - 2 plies. The weaker side wall is supposed to give a better ride. I did not notice any difference. One area that I think many miss is balancing all wheels. Many only balance the steer axle leaving the drivers and tag unbalanced. Then they wonder way the ride is rough. I recommend balancing ALL tires. I have used Equal in all my coach tires for about ten years now and find it to be a superior product. With Equal, you do not have to constantly rebalance the tires. I have used Centromatics as well and they work great. The Equal is cheaper though. George Lowry '95 WBDA 4203 & GM 4106 (for sale) Spearfish, SD P.S. When you get to Les Schwab, see if they will give you any trade-in for you old tires. The worse they can say is no.... G jon lechich wrote: > Thanks for the information.
