I had a similar problem, I bought a black and white tv from Walmart
and then hooked the cable feed that went into the "chassis" from the
camera - mine was coax, and fed the new 12 v TV. I now have to turn
on the old monitor for the camera, and the new TV which sits on the
dash - but it works well for me
