Locked out
Mike, I had my lock malfunction and I was locked out. Lucky for me the
head window was still open. I have heard that you can remove the fantastic fan from the roof and lower someone small in. As for the door, on my coach, I disassembled the door: internal window frame off, pull handle off, dead bolt off, flex the door panel and remove, drill out rivets and remove the next layer to expose the lock. On my coach the return spring for the lock was broke so I replaced it with a carburetor type spring, better than the original. The hardest part was putting the contact cement on the door and door panel and reassembling. Best of luck, Marty Gregg 95 BMC 37 Kennewick Wa. |
