Air governor
I do not know where your tanks are on the SP. I'll tell you where mine are on
my WB-40, so you have an idea where to start. There are three tanks forward of
the drive axel near the Bendix air dryer which I had completely rebuilt
yesterday. The tanks and dryer are up under the floor in a not so convenient
location . A PIA to service. At the same time I had the mechanic install
lanyards on each tank..I did not find any significant water in the tanks. The
other tank is behind the generator above the front axel virtually inaccessible
but we got to it for a lanyard. Jacked up the coach and did it one handed. I
did not find any significant water in that tank either and it has not been
drained since I have owned the coach because I could not find it.
For info, the Bendix dryer on my 1990 is an AD-4 and I had to order the rebuild
kit.
Now if I can get my step to quit acting up, I will be ok.

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Air governor

The bird is due to come out of storage soon and I know I have some
extra things to work on. At the end of last year (still in good
weather) the air pressure would build to 150psi before the pressure
relief would kick in via the governor. Is it best to just replace it?
If so what is the easiest access (remove bumper, remove fan etc)?
Also, is it necessary to manually bleed the air tanks or does the drier
take care of all moisture? Also, where are the air tanks located?
