Keith, I wonder if the rebuild kit would help.I think it is only for
the pump side and not the dc motor side? Building up against a head
or too much pressure would cause a big amp draw and or the
bearings/bushings in the motor are shot????? I think if the pump is
weak it would only run feewheeled too much and not be a big amp draw
