Tire Kicking
John i have a 1983 pt 40 for sale and you are most welcome to touch and drive,
the bus is located in NC. not sure if that is in your driving range or not. you can reach at the above email address. Fred Brown bubblerboy64 I am in the process of trying narrow my search. I can only do this after touching and feeling a couple of these coaches. I would like to be able to see and ride in a early BB without air bags and a later model which has the addition of turbo engine retarder and of course the air suspension. This is a little like buying a hammer. I have a nail but I don't know what I need to drive it. The difference between a nice early BB with out the "big three" and the later BB's with the addition is 15 to 20K. Not certain I need the added advantages of all or any of the turbo, retarder or air bags but I CERTAINLY don't want to buy the bus and regret the cost savings. My intention is to use the coach mostly for trips in Pa and trips under 150 miles one way. However, I want to be certain I don't under sell myself. My point: Anyone in the south central Pa, MD and Virginia have a bird of the types outline who would let me touch it. I'd be glad to pay a fee or buy dinner etc. And opinions are always welcome. Some of you guys and girls who have owned several of these BB's please don't be shy. I understand it's my decision but I value the benefit of speaking to those with experience.
