Rear View Camera Replacement
I did not. I built my own system.

For info, Stephen's sealed side camera connectors are S-Video 4 conductor
connectors plus ground.. I purchased one for the right side of my coach. Pin 2
and 3 are not used. Adapters are available at Radio Shack. I'll make my own
harness to my New RH LCD using the following components.
S-Video Plug-278-451
S-Video Coupler-278-455
If you have audio, that is another issue.
I would think that soldering wires to the 4 pin mini-DIN Sony connectors would
be compatable with S-Video. It says 4 pin DIN to 4 Pin DIN on the back of the
Radio Shack package. Ohm out the wires and solder together. I'm no rocket
scientist but mine is working. The other issue would be do you have split screen
capability. Personally, I used two 3.5 high resolution LCD's. I used existing
cables with adapters. Picture is great, no LED's to worry about. Just what I
did.
Steven, the check is in the mail.

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Rear View Camera Replacement

From a month or two ago on the BB BMC site:

On my backup camera monitor (model Sony SSM-721AMR), it scrolls very
fast vertically when cold, stabilizes to a good picture when "warmed"
for over 2 hours.

Sunday night after 9PM I emailed a question to RVCAMS whether I
should suspect the camera or the monitor. 45 minutes later Tim
emailed me back with troubleshooting advice, that allowed me to
determine it is the camera failing.

Tonight I ordered a replacement camera on-line from RVCAMS. Original
was Sony SSC520AM, replacement is Sony SSM530AM.

I received confirmation automatically within several minutes, and Tim
sent me a personal email within 45 minutes to verify if I need
reversing or non-reversing camera. (my monitor is reversing, so the
camera requirement is non reversing). So on two nights back to back
I had emails back from Tim within 45 minutes -- after business hours.

http://www.rvcams.com provided excellent service on this particular
circumstance.

Rich, I had very good service via email from these guys. Email them
your specifics, and see if they can hook you up.
