Installing new guage.
Jim,

I replaced both oil temp gages on our 88 FC ( 3208 oil and rear axle
temps) BB gage part number 54438, It is a Teleflex gage.

If this is your gage the temp sensor is a Stewart-Warner, part
number 280EEF . It is available at truck parts stores. It has
several threaded bushings for all thread sizes, One will match the
original threads. BB did not have the correct sensor.
