A question for the "yankees"...surface rust
I'm a southerner, and around here we are not used to seeing much rust
on the underside of our vehicles. My newly acquired PT, however, was a northern coach, and the underpinnings have surface rust on them. Since this is all foreign to me, I ask...is this really something to worry much about? Is there anything I should do about it? Nothing looks weak or rusted through with holes or anything like that, there's just a coating on everything under there. The good news is that the body is fine, the coach was stripped to the bare metal and re-painted 3 years ago, and I have pictures of it stripped showing no body rust. Opinions/advice?
