I hate vinyl
Gardner, Try a product from 3M called "Vinyl and Adhesive Remover". I
get it from an auto paint supply store and you just spray it on and let set for a few minutes. It softens the vinyl and the underlying adhesive so it comes fairly easily. I have had good results with it.
