Pressure Pro question on locks
The PP locks are not really locks. There are 2 styles. One is simply
a thin nut and a thin wrench. You tighten the nut to the sensor. This would keep little kids from taking your sensosrs but not the CG thief. The other locks are a nut with a set screw. Perhaps a little better but what a pain when you need to add air to an inside dual. A lot of users have a small parts box, the type you find in the fishing tackle stores, and they remove the toad sensors when camping. A good idea if you are going to travel anywhere in the toad. I know that over the last 10 years I have had 5 or 6 valve caps stolen so why not the sensors? BTW: I was having some tires installed on my truck and was reading a tire dealers magazine. If you have the internally mounted TPMS they charge a whole bunch to rotate your tires. There have also been problems with those sensors corroding. Has anyone installd heri monitors yet? Would be nice to see a few photos of an install on various Birds. I ordered a Ram mount for mine. If anyone is interested I will post the link. Bruce 1988FC35 Cold Rainy Canada |
