coolant sensor

I also have a 1988 pt40 with the check engine light that comes on
when I pull a long hill,this has been constant for four years, The
code say low coolant when the tank is full. I have been into William
Detroit in Georgia and Phoenix, Detroit diesel shops in North
Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, and more. The suggestions and
cures have ranged from poor ground, bad injectors, bad sender, to
duck tape over the lite. I now believe it must be a fault in the
computer or wiring or other magical places. But, if other 88 pt40
owners have the same problem it probably is a manufacuring flaw. If
anyone finds a cure please post it.
