VW TDI as a toad?
Not wanting to start a flame war but; My son-in-law is the leading
dealer sales person in New England. He has been selling VW product
since the 80's.
He is of the opinion that the only real reason to buy a TDI is so you
can hang out at truck stops.
Reason: He has many customers running gas VW's well over 2ooKmi. By
that time the chassis is about gone.
If you run the numbers, consider initial cost and maintenance, it just
doesn't work out.
I gave my 300SDL to my grandson at 300+Kmi, if he doesn't abuse it I
think he can give it to his son. That car had a great chassis, not
cheap to fix but great to drive.

New Rule: There's no such thing as flavored water. There's a whole aisle of
this crap at the supermarket - water, but without that watery taste. Sorry, but
flavored water is called a soft drink, or juice. You want flavored water?
Pour some Maker's Mark over ice and let it melt. That's my flavored water.
Amen!
