VW TDI as a toad?

It's the extra 13 miles per gallon, on average, that lures people like
myself to the TDI. The Volkswagen TDIs get better fuel economy than
even a Prius. The TDI is also under-rated; EPA claims 36 city, 41
highway, but a coworker of mine routinely gets 50mpg across the board
in his TDI Jetta (& 600+ miles to a tank). That's a manual
transmission and driving very conservatively.

Besides, I want a toad that uses the same fuel as my coach. I intend
to eventually add an external fuel pump to my bird so I can fill the
toad up out of the bird's tank.
