Another generator problem? Two questions?

Ed, was the pin connection under sized as engineered, or is there
issue with a ;glow plug ;wire between plugs ;wire size from 12v
source ;glow not shuting off ;over glow?

The burnt pin may not be the cause of your problem, it may be a
result.
