m380 cummins
we were driving up 95 n of richmond when i was telling my wife how
enjoyable this m380 has been when i started to lose power, turbo booster went to 0 and with foot to the floor with no power i was able to get to the side of this 4 lane packed highway as the engine cut off and had to steer with no assist barely out of harmes way. Initially the engine would not start, but after a 30 min wait it did. i decide to try driving along the side slowly, turbo was registering and everything seemed fine all gauges normal,so out on 95 we went with no more problem. during that 30 min i talked to my local rv guy who thought it was an electrical problem, jessie at bb was going to look up some master prob list, havn't heard back. any thoughts on what may have occured. i have synthetic fluds in the tranny as well as the engine, and all guages have stayed remakably normal. jim |
