[Richard Hayden]

Thank you for the elder Richard Hayden, USNR, CCM, who hasn't been with us for
quite awhile. I get real emotional about this stuff. He was a really great guy.

Pacific. He obviously didn't have to enlist at his age but felt it was his duty
and that he had skills that were needed. He was a Chief Carpenter's Mate.
Financially it was probably a very bad mistake as he never really recovered. But
I am proud that he did.
