new owner of 83 PT35

Greetings....just found this forum after becoming the owner of an 83
bird. I live in Alaska and bought her in Arizona last Oct and drove
her a bit around that state. In Jan, I again flew to Arizona and
drove her around again for a few weeks, wanted to drive her further
north but the weather wasn't cooperating so I placed her back in
storage. In Mar, I flew to Arizona again and drove her some
more....to NM, to Tex, and then up to Wash state thru the mid west.
Encountered some cold weather in Wyoming and Montana, but she did
great. I put her in storage in Wash and then went down and picked her
up in May and drove her thru Canada to Anchorage. She's already given
me some great moments and a couple of scares, but I wouldn't trade
those experiences for anything. I'll be asking some questions as I
start doing more maintanence work and will be reading the old postings
to learn as much as I can. I've drove her over 8000 miles
already....and it seems I learn something everyday.
