Trojan battery questions

1) A buddy of mine that sells golf carts says he can get T-105's for me
for $71 each. Is this a good price?

2) Do the Trojans have any date codes on them? I put a new set in my
now-sold FC last year. I talked to the buyer, and he said that they
died on his first trip and that the guy who replaced them for him said
they were very old batteries.
