You've got lots of good input regarding mechanicals, structural
issues, tires but no one has said anything about mold.

With the apparent water penetration, mold must be there. Are you
planning on a total gut job on the interior? Unless you're taking
it back to bare metal you can't be sure you've gotten rid of
possibly serious health risks from mold.

The sour smell, probably mildew, will have been absorbed by ALL soft
materials. You should count on replacing everything.

You also need to take proper care during interior demolition that
you don't breathe any mold spores... Check into proper masks to
protect yourself.
