Generator vibration

Our 88 FC has the 8.0K, 3 cylinder Kubota, located in the rear
driver side bay behind the dual tires. I removed the gennie to
service, re-insulate, adjust valves, t-stat. etc. and cleanup this
area. The motor mounts were flat as a pancake, so I replaced them
with three from Onan, They were labeled , vibration dampeners.
The replacements were more robust with more rubber. If I were to do
this again I would go to NAPA and try to match the part, Onan charges
to paint them green.................
I do not know if this really helped with noise or vibration, But ,
replacing the flat, hard mounts made me feel better.
