Just a heads up on the 85 35FC Blue/Cream on Ebay, although it is a
nice looking bird it has a few small problems which will need to be
attended to; dash A/C does not blow cold, all levelers do not retract
and the generator slide does not open, and no cruise control, and the
batteries may need to be replaced soon, hatchs & latches on the both
inside & out need attention. It had what looked to be near new
tires. All 3 top units worked great. but the dash unit blows but no
serious cold air. The bird looks as if it had been extremely well
maintained in a former life but looks to have been somewhat neglected
recently. It appears to have been 3 owners. Engine rebuilt - top &
bottom at 100K, odometer replaced at 103K and current total milage
around 111K. Paint is in great shape for a 22 YO Bird, neede a
serious buffing and wax job, it would look near new, under carriage
is clean and no rust, awnings look good but could use a pressure
wash. The bus rides and drives straight, good power and handling. I
would rate this bird a possible 8 out of 10. We are considering this
as our first bus but want to look at a couple more before we plung
into another expendable funds adventure.
