Battery's

Another thing to consider. One dealer I know says he buys cheap batteries and
replaces them every couple years, putting the old ones in tractors or a work car
or some other non-critical application. Expensive batteries can go bad as
easily as cheap ones, he said. Due to an ordering mistake, I have four new
AGM's mixed with 2 old Gels. With the inverters configured for gels, there's no
danger of damage to the AGM's, they're just not qite fully charged. The other
way around though, with the inverter charging Gels to AGM voltage, could be
damaging. I do plan to replace the 2 remaining Gels soon.
Fortunately my starting batteries and generator battery are regular 12V. There
are many good primers on RV battery use on the net. Brad Barton 00LXiDFW

I've seen battery's range from $130 at the parts store to> $65 at the walmart
.... Where should I buy to get the best bang for> the buck ?????............
