Dan, I second Rob's recommendation. Phred's Poopsheets are
invaluable. (He even has a Poopsheet on, well, poop). (Scroll
down to the bottom on the battery page, you'll find a link to the
Table of Contents.) I suggest you browse through all of his
sheets. One note, he hasn't updated his material in a few years so
the very latest info won't be covered. But I get the impression
that you're not the kinda guy who's comfortable on the bleeding edge
of technology.
