Scott,
Starting to sound like a prior owner modification to remove the locking slider bar that I would not care for if it was mine. The small stop tabs at the back of the tray runners will not stop it under a hard stop. Seems like a few years back, someone posted about their genset tray sliding out and landing on the road in front of them under a hard braking scenario. Oooops! Anyone else remember that post?
