Can Anyone Help??? Stuck with an extended generator... 84PT40!!!!
Yes, for some reason that is beyond my understanding, the entire
assembly has been removed. I thought it odd that BB wouldn't have put one on there, but figured they know more than me. With this conversation, though, I can see where the release lever used to stick out the front and where the bolts extended out the sides to secure it. Ah...but never fear...shadetree engineering to the rescue. Went to my local Lowes and bought two 3/4 X 3" clevis pins and pushed them through the original holes from the inside. Engages the frame perfectly and locks in with cotter pins. Tried to slide the tray with the hydraulics, and it won't budge with those on there. So I think I have solved the problem. Will be a bit less convenient to pop those out than slide the original latch, but functional.
