Sticky bedroom window
Today I removed the frame around the bedroom window (for reasons that
aren't important to this comment) and I discovered that the "reluctant" window now opens with no problem. Apparently, the window frame rubs on the "inside" sliding window so that it won't open. When I replace the window frame, I'm going to shim it slightly so that there's a little gap so the window will be able to slide.
