Safe Combo
I tried the message archieve but it wouldn't work for me, so I thought I
would try you guys.

My safe combo has been changed from the original factory setting as per 2
different locksmiths. They would have drilled it but since I assume it's

empty and there are no replacement parts, I didn't see the point in ruining
a great safe. I was going to hid a new one somewhere until I found these

#'s under the couch seats covering the safe (shhhh, don't tell anyone).

Not really having used dial safes in the past I don't know the proper order
of spins and what direction to start turning. Anyone have any advice?

Hi Sid,

I just replaced mine with one from Blue Bird. Was around $100 or
so... like everything else. Brand was "ohmite". Was pretty easy to
get to. New one works beautifully. Could not find a match at any
auto parts stores, but did not try a "good" NAPA (the one here in
Hershey is pretty sad) I can walk you throught the removal and
installation if needed.
