Generator won't run
Hi Ryan:

Check the simple stuff first. Temporarily, pull the wire from the low
coolant sending unit and the low oil pressure sending unit, and see if
it will run. Both of these sending units work on a grounding principle
and they activate the engine shut down solenoid, when they detect too
high of a coolant temperature, or too low of an oil pressure. Check
the 10 amp glass fuse in the front of the control box Check the
breaker box located (on mine), on the left wall of the generator
compartment. But before you start worrying about the voltage
regulator, don't forget to check the 8 amp glass fuse located behind
the back cover of the gen. Extend the slide, crawl under the bus into
the back of the gen compartment. (if your slide is hydraulic, close
the locking latch, this disrupts power to the slide mechanism, and
helps prevents the pesky BB gremlins from ruining your day) 4 screws
to remove the back metal cover and you will find the inline 8 amp fuse
(Buss ABC8).
Mine had a similar problem as yours, and this is as far as I got. When
I found the blown 8 amp fuse, I felt like I had won the lottery!

Good Luck
I hope this helps
