John,
I had to put a different switch on my Newell because of a new step installation.
And replacing the plunge switch in the door jamb with the newere magnetic switch
at the bottom was nice improvement. Only thing..it was stuck on with double
stick tape..came off..but I found it before it was too late and superglued it
back on. If you want the original BB air-actuated step, the magnetic quick-ee

Thanks for the info however my problems are a little more basic. I don't have
much of anything under that step. No mechanism or valves.It appears that most
parts are missing so my question is more basic. I have what is an obvious switch
on the inside door jam and the steps them selves but I basically am going to
have to start over getting the air and electral components. Looks like a job for
the professionals. I just was wondering if this is all BB stuff or if other
coaches have similar? Don't think I am up to all that is involved with this one.
