Zip Dee question
My big awning rolls out fine. I extend the front rafter arm and the
hook on the end drops down over the shaft where it enters the head, holding the awning in the extended position. The rear rafter arm, however, has the hook facing upwards so it engages the shaft from the bottom. The arm is supported only by a short section of the hook and therefor could drop on someone's head at any time, probably mine. Is this the way it should be? I looked at the Zip Dee site diagrams, but they only show the front arm and the parts catalog doesn't differentiate between the front and rear parts. I have the older curved style. Gardner 78FC33 |
