Birds for sale
I know the feeling. When I get hungry I can start eating dirt. lol Next time you
are in Grayton give us a shout. I am in that area daily.
Royale Conversions have many nice features and that '89 looks real nice.

Yes, there are. And here I am.....a wannabe....with a nice hunk of real
estate for sale and no extra cash (its all tied up in the land). Arg! I've
been watching some pretty good units go up on the market and sell for
pretty good prices. And, I can't do a dang thing. Just as well as I think I
still have a little more work to do on my wife. I think the trip to the
beach last month helped her opinion on that one, though. I spent 6 hours
last month in an AutoZone parking lot in Eufala, AL replacing the fan,
alternator, and power steering belt after the fan slung a blade off near
Phenix City. We made it to the beach (Grayton Beach State Park), but it
wasn't a pretty trip as I had to fix some of my temporary repairs once we
got there and my repair efforts yielded me a substantial gash on my head
(with lots of blood and gore but no serious damage). I guess I was lucky it
didn't get the radiator or anything else, though. Fortunately, we were able
to make it to the parts store in Eufala and then found what we needed down
in the Grayton area.. So, at least she knows that I'm not blowing smoke
about wanting to replace it. And, if I'm going to replace it. She knows I
will want to do it right (this time).

I think I'm leaning towards a 91-94 if I ever get to that point. Still,
that 89 with the Royale Conversion in AL looks pretty nice as well. I just
know I definitely want a wide-body - prefer a cross-island bed, a
washer-dryer (or at least hookups for one), and would rather have a dinette
with chairs instead of a booth. And, any color but that god-awful peach
interior or a red exterior is fine with me. My wife prefers one with a
slide. But, I don' t think she yet understands the economic ramifications
of that preference. :-) We can't really afford anything later than about 94
or so at this point so the slide may not happen. And, she's going to put up
a fight on the cost of a 91-94, too. But, ultimately I think we'll get
there. Of course, if I have to hold on to that land for another 5 years,
that slide may start to be within reach by then!

Oh well.....I'm glad to see it wasn't just my dreaming that had me noticing
the number of birds for sale right now. Thanks for letting me dream some
more.....
