Leveling Motor removal, ARRRGGGHHH!!!!!
The pump motor and selenoid for my leveling system are both burned
out. The selenoid was an easy remove, but the motor is another thing altogether.I had to cut a hole in the floor under the step to remove the last bolt that connected the motor to the pump. No big deal the metal was soft and the sawzall went right thru it, and it will be easy to repair later and out of sight, under the step. But it turns out that the MOTOR holds up the pump. There appears to be two bolts or studs that go thru te step wall, but are unseen on the other side . Has anyone any information on how to go about removing the motor without completely butchering the steps.I have posted some picts of job as it stands now, labeled "Leveling motor".Any help would be appreciated, but I feel it may be time to get out the pry bar anyway. |
