Rally in our "own Valley
ron.as a vendor at FMCA for many years i watched the price of vending go up each
and every event.it was way too high to break even, back when i first started showing my wares at fmca conventions.i wrote letters to fmca,a chapter for vendors was started, all to try to keep the cost down so we could continue to vend at there conventions.the cost continuded to go up and i stopped working at the fmca conventions.their feelings were that they sold out all the space at every show,so why keep the cost down?there was always someone else waiting for my spot if i didnt want it.i know of several other manufacture's that don't attend for the same reason, too much money! i guess that the people at BB think that 500 bucks is not very much money for someone that owns a bird.too me,its not the amount of money, its what you get for the money.and the riv is not worth $500 to me,and i really think BB will not get that its too much money until we don't show up there..randydupree93wb ----- Original Message ----- From: ronmarabito2002 To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, May 06, 2005 3:25 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Rally in our "own Valley It wouldn't serve any usefull purpose to alienate ourselves from Wanderlodge. We have nothing to gain by doing this. We need to simply make Management understand that: It's not worth it and they need to re-think their pricing and where the value is. R.E. If 500 bucks tightens your back side, the powers that be are getting the desired effect. I suspect it's like that at Indio and other high end destinations. Some people like to hang with peers of a like net worth level. Or something. Nothing wrong with bein' trailer trash. > Mike Hohnstein > ----- Original Message ----- > From: George Lowry > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, May 06, 2005 11:04 AM > Subject: Re: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Rally in our "own Valley > > > I don't know how many of the forum members are also members of the > FMCA Bluebird Chapter but I am beginning to have concerns.
