Retarder for PT36
I hope they put an actuator light on those metallic retarders. I nearly set my
84FC on fire in Flagstaff, Arizona because I forgot and left it on. Brad Barton

Simply put the retarder reverses the oil flow striking the stator and tries to
stop it from turning, this is all done in the torque converter not the
transmission. normal driving when you apply the brake th e retarder works also,
if you pull the handle the switch must be on to work, WHAT THE TRANSMISSION TEMP
