Hi George,
My mirror did the same two years ago. I used a product called Polyseamseal. ot sure this is correct spelling, it's close. It's a construction type adhesive. I used clear. Goes on white, dries clear. You shouldn't see it anyway. Use some tape to hold in position until dry. Lowes and Home Depot carry it here in Maryland. It is water soluble when wet. easy clean up. Keep it dry over night and it's good to go. My mirror has not budged since the repair.
