Any Gas 'Lodges with Ford Super Duty 534 V-8?

Ben, I have a Ford Super Duty 534C.I. engine in my FC31. It is a very strong
power plant. I remember working on one in 1968 in what was called a B-52
Wheel Mover. They have been around since the early sixties, and were
discontinued around 1980/1981. My bus came with this engine, has 145K on the
clock, but the second owner had it overhauled at around 115K, because he was
concerned about using unleaded gas, (engine did not come with hardened valve
seats). The folks that overhauled it told him that it was in fine shape,
could have went another 100K. So, I have approx. 30K on it,(with hardened
valve seats installed). Thanks to help from Mike H. , Curt S., Holley, and a
few others, I have replaced the carb.,(new Holley 670 Truck Avenger), new
ignitor, etc. It is running great now,( It SURE LOVES GAS THOUGH ). I am
sure that it will outlast me. Hope this info. helps. Regards, George Burke
