turn signals (fuse?)
Rose Mary,

Excellent question...I've witnessed many, many strange things going on
when working on 12V lighting problems. It could be a bad ground
stopping the whole circuit, or the power supply for that circuit, or?

Do you have a 12V test light with you? If you do, remove a
brake/signal bulb, turn on the signals, NOW BE VERY CAREFUL...use the
test light to validate there is...or is not...power to that bulb
socket.

I'm not there with your 'Bird...You have stepped outside to see that
the signal bulbs are not working? Right?

Something more -
I may be wrong on this brain wave, but here goes, recall/getting older
you know. Our previous 'Bird, a '74, had issues with the signals. I
found a wire that was not attached on a switch at/near the coach frame
(I unknowingly pulled it off when messing with other things)...also I
recall changing out that switch near the frame to fix another signal
light issue. It's a number of years difference from the '74 to the '82
so I may be all wet here. Anyway, laying under the coach, under the
drivers seat, look up near the outside of the frame, look for any
wires that may be disconnected. The switch was about 2" square. The
switch turned on the brake lights when the air brake peddle was
applied. The signal lights power to the bulbs followed that same path
to the bulbs.
