Overhead load center questions
many solenoid need major amps/volts to open but less to stay open.
maybe your ign switch is going bad and the only time it pass no power
is when the input power to the ign switch is shut down with the
master power. all other times it is bleeding enough to maintain the
solenoid open but not enough to open a closed solenoid????????????

OR,,, bad solenoid. I would check the solenoid signal post (where
wire from ign switch attach to sol.) with a good multimeter with
the ign switch off. then, remove the ign wire at the solenoid and see
if there is power ;at the solenoid signal post or the ;end of the
removed wire from the ign switch. if power at the signal post it may
be the solenoid is internally screwed??????????

'Self latching solenoid'?? is there such a thing???
