Having lived in southeast Florida and driven in that kind of heat and humidity, I can certainly sympathize with y'all. You didn't write if you were using the roof air conditioners while you were traveling. I ASSUME that you were. We used to travel with just the dash air working. When we stopped and parked, we would turn on the roof airs and it took HOURS to cool that bedroom down. I learned to run all three roof airs while traveling. That helped a lot.
