Transmission "Do Not Shift" Light and Code 22 (Speed Sensor)
Although I don't think your bus would start if the remote rear start switch was
acting up, mine will give me a do not shift light in the rear start position and
in the front position if it is not engaged properly. Not all coaches are wired
to give a do not shift light on the remote rear start position but mine does. I
have never checked my codes so can't help there. I would cycle that switch to
rear, off, and back to front, restart and see what happens.. It is a long shot
but easy to do.
Let us know what you find for future reference.

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Transmission "Do Not Shift" Light and Code 22
(Speed Sensor)

Greetings All; I started my coach today which has been sitting in
covered storage with shore power for about two weeks. The
transmission "Do Not Shift" light and check transmission light are
staying on. It flashes a Code 22 which indicates a Speed Sensor issue.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I did not note any
transmission problems on my last trip which was about two weeks ago. I
cleaned the ground strap connections on the transmission and frame and
checked the transmission cannon plug but the warning lights remain on.
Thanks. David Hanvy 89WB PT40 Crosby, TX
