Transmission "Do Not Shift" Light and Code 22 (Speed Sensor)
Leroy/Kevin,
Thanks for your replies. I started the engine from the rear remote and the transmission warning light/do not shift remains on. No change when I switched back to the front either. Additionally, I disconnected from shore power and disconnected the ground cable on the battery bank in an effort to reset the tranny. No luck on that either. (do not shift equals WILL not shift) I plan to to locate and read up on the Speed Sensor as a next step. All input is appreciated. Not all coaches are wired to give a do not shift light on the remote rear start position but mine does. I have never checked my codes so can't help there. I would cycle that switch to rear, off, and back to front, restart and see what happens.. It is a long shot but easy to do. > Let us know what you find for future reference. > Leroy Eckert > 1990 WB-40"Smoke N Mirrors" > Niceville, FL > Royale Conversion > ----- Original Message ----- > From: David Hanvy > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Thursday, September 13, 2007 8:48 PM > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Transmission "Do Not Shift" Light and Code 22 (Speed Sensor) > > > Greetings All; I started my coach today which has been sitting in > covered storage with shore power for about two weeks.
