Replace stock '92 inveter with Xantrex RS2000 OR RS3000?
Although my '95 may be different from the '92-'93s -- it may also be
similar.

I have dual Heart 2500 watt inverters -- it appears that a previous
owner upgraded them with new ones a couple of years before I got the
coach. I have a Heart Link 2000-R controller that handles the
charging, etc. This is a more advanced model than the standard OEM
controller. (But it takes a rocket scientist to figure out the manual!)

The inverted power seems to have its own circuits. There are two
breakers (located on the engine bulkhead below the main panel --
quite near where the inverter box is located). The inverters are in a
box above some of the house batteries in a curb-side compartment.

I haven't tried to trace out exactly how things are wired -- but it
seems to have independent circuits. When I turn off the (home-type)
refrigerator by (1) setting the switch inside to off and (2) flipping
the circuit breaker on the main panel, the light inside goes out.
However, when I disconnect from shore power (or the generator is
turned off), then the inverters automatically switch on -- and the
light goes on in the refrigerator! I'm guessing that the breakers
near the inverters actually control the inverted circuits. (I haven't
taken the time to experiment with this yet.)

I have assumed that the breakers may turn off the inverters/chargers,
so I've left them on when attached to shore power. Perhaps I need to
perform some more experiments.

So, I don't think it's necessarily safe to assume anything about how
the inverters may be wired into the house system until you can
experiment with them.
