Looking for higher gear ratio to better my top end speed
I bet there is more to the math then changing the cruise speed @rpm
in the highest gear. I understand the bus gear math ratios were reset for the 55mph national speed limits, whenever they were set into law. It may be that a taller gear would be that which was origionaly engineered.
