Bluebird Afghan allergy
Gardner,
I have severe allergies for which I take two different meds to control. I have
not noticed any problem at all when being around the Blue Bird afghan. I
usually sit in the chair directly across from the couch where it is located.
Lately I've been working on the coach on the inside installing a new floor in
the galley and removing and reinstalling the furnace under the same couch.
Again, I have had no problem. I have more trouble in the house where there is
an electronic air filter.

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Bluebird Afghan allergy

Last year I purchased one of the Bluegird logo afghans as a Christmas
present fpor my wife. This year on several ocasions my wife had an
alergic reaction to something in the coach. Several times after we took
a weekend trip her eyes swelled almost shut and her face swelled. On
one trip she had no reaction. After carefully retracing her steps she
discovered that only when she used the Bluebird afghan did she have a
reaction. Since she stopped using it the swelling has not returned.

So there is something in the fiber that is an irritant of some kind.
Has anhyone else experienced this kind of reaction?
