Bluebird Afghan allergy
Afghans are common to hold dust mites which are very common
allergens, there are few true wool allergies but allergies to lanolin are pretty common. Then you get into fabric dies and laundry and dry cleaning compounds. Don't know if the afghan is even made of wool but some people are sensitive to the scratchy nature of wool (not a true allergy) but with eyes swelling its likely a true allergy to something. If she has no known allergies I'd suggest just not having the afghan around another possibility is an animal allergy? Didn't have a cat sleeping on the afghan did you? These things are like a detective mystery you have to figure out what the variables are and then eliminate them one at a time. JEH > > Gardner, > I have severe allergies for which I take two different meds to control. I have not noticed any problem at all when being around the Blue Bird afghan. I usually sit in the chair directly across from the couch where it is located. Lately I've been working on the coach on the inside installing a new floor in the galley and removing and reinstalling the furnace under the same couch. Again, I have had no problem. I have more trouble in the house where there is an electronic air filter. > > Dick Hayden - '87 PT 38 - Lake Stevens, WA > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Gardner Yeaw > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Monday, October 01, 2007 6:46 AM > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Bluebird Afghan allergy > > > Last year I purchased one of the Bluegird logo afghans as a Christmas > present fpor my wife.
